Hi! I am Essie, and I am here to show accountability in this journey called life. A question I needed to think about was, “Who am I?”
I am, first and foremost, a Christian. I am imperfect but forgiven and redeemed by Christ as my Lord and Savior. Next, I’m also a mom of three boys. My boys are my everything. They are the reason I get up in the morning, and they are the reason I work so hard. I want to give them the best possible life, and I want to set them up for success. There is never a dull moment in my house. Even my pupper is a guy!
I’m also an escrow officer at a local title company. I handle the history and insurance of a property, help navigate the complex process of buying and selling a home, and make sure that everything goes smoothly. I love helping people achieve their dream of homeownership, and I’m proud to play a role in making that happen.
In addition to my work as an escrow officer, I’m also a part-time college student. I am working on my undergraduate degree and following a lifelong dream of eventually becoming an attorney. It is never too late to work toward a goal set.
I am a third-generation native DC resident, and I have a love/hate relationship with my city, but I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Currently. I also became a homeowner since 2011 in this great city as well. I’m proud to be a part of my community in Congress Heights, SE DC, and I’m committed to making it a better place for everyone. In addition, I’m a local notary public, and am always happy to help people with their documents.
Currently, I’m also embracing a journey of weight loss, self-care, ways to stay active and enjoy life in DC and discovering the exciting world of social media content creation. It’s been a fun way to express myself creatively, and I’m even exploring the fascinating possibilities of AI art! I’m a lover of books, reading, music, and a learner for life. I’m always looking for new things to learn and new experiences to have. I’m excited to see what the future holds, and I’m grateful for all the opportunities I’ve been given.
Thank you for reading about me! I hope you enjoyed learning a little bit more about me. I’m always happy to connect with new people, so please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or if you just want to chat.
